Each player starts with only two cards and the remaining cards are shared, so that the one who gets the best combination of cards win. It is a game of strategic analysis and includes mathematical strategy. The order of betting in hold 'em is fixed throughout the betting rounds, and is thus regarded as a highly positional game.  The kickers, or the side cards, usually determine the winner more often than the poker variants.

Omaha hold 'em online casino poker

Omaha hold 'em, or simply Omaha, also referred to as a “flop game,” is also a community card poker game where certain cards are made available for all players to use.  In Ohama, each player is dealt with four cards, where they use their best hand to use exactly two of the four cards, plus three of the five community cards.  This gives a player more leeway for choosing cards, in contrast to Texas hold 'em where players are only dealt with two cards. There are variations of the Ohama poker, and can refer to several poker games, including the original and most common “Omaha High” or high-low split variant called the “Omaha eight-or-better” or “Omaha Hi-Lo.”       

Stud online casino poker

In stud online poker, each player receives a mix of face-up and face-down cards which are dealt in multiple betting rounds, and are thus typically non-positional games, where the player who bets first on the round may change from round to round.  The cards that are face-down are called hole cards. There are variants of stud poker, including five-card stud and the most common, seven-card stud.
