In Texas Hold’em and Omaha games the blinds and levels will increase every ten hands for seven levels. The eighth level will be final level and continue, regardless of the number of hands, until a winner is determined.

Button Rules

In games that require a button, a big blind will be required at the start of each hand. If the player in the big blind has been eliminated, a small blind is not required to start the next consecutive hand. However, the next eligible player is required to post the big blind.

When the tournament is down to two players (heads-up) in community card games, the player in the small blind will receive the button. That player will also initiate the betting during action before the flop.

If a player in the small blind is eliminated, the button will not advance. The player that posted the big blind at the onset of the previous hand will be required to post the small blind. The eligible player positioned to the left of the player posting the small blind will post the big blind.

Raises

There is a maximum of three raises, or a total of four bets per round. During heads-up play, involving only two players, a maximum of five raises or six bets are allowed.

Observers

Observers are welcome and are expected to use the chat responsibly.

Soft Play

Soft playing is not allowed. There are no exceptions to this rule.

All-in Protection

If a player is not eligible for All-in protection and fails to act on their hand for any reason, the hand in play will automatically be folded. The player will also post all required blinds (this will be done automatically). It is possible that a player may be “blinded out” if they fail to reconnect and are unable to re-join the relevant tournament.

A player may be removed from any DoingPoker tournament and possibly banned from the site if it is determined that the player is abusing All-in privileges.

Determining a Winner

All online poker tournaments end when one player has won all the chips.

Pay Outs

If more than one player is eliminated during a single hand, the player who started the hand with the most chips will receive the highest prize. If more than one player has started the hand with an equal number of chips, and those players are eliminated during the same hand, the prize will be divided accordingly; 50% of the highest valued prize and 50% of the value of the next consecutive prize.

Disconnect

If a player is unable to connect before a hand starts, that player will receive a hand and any required blinds and/or antes will be posted. If the player fails to act on his or her turn the hand will be automatically folded.

Time Outs and Time Bank

If a player times out during a hand, whether connected or disconnected, that player’s hand will be folded.

Each player will be allocated a time bank, which allows the player extra time to make a decision. The time bank depletes as it is used throughout the online poker tournament. If a player elects to use the time bank, other players at the table will be notified.

Balancing Tables

As players are eliminated from the online poker tournament, remaining players will be moved to balance tables. The balancing of tables is random and, although rare, may result in a player having to post several big blinds in a row.

DoingPoker Technical Issues

In the event of a server crash, the hands in progress at every table at the time of the server crash will be restored. Each player’s chip count will be reset to the amount at the beginning of the hand. In special circumstances, when it is impossible to restart a tournament after the crash, it will be canceled and the unclaimed portion of the prize pool will be equally divided among all remaining players.

Un-registration

Players can un-register up to 10 minutes before the start of an online poker tournament. Players who have won their seats through a satellite can not un-register.

Decisions

In case of disputes, Doing Poker management decision will be final.
